The Stories Behind the Art......
Come
In the Savior's Arms
Fran had brain cancer and knew her time on earth was short. She asked me to do this painting to remind her family on earth that she would still be watching over them with the Savior. She titled the painting and is the first angel in the group.
Kealie left this life too soon. I have done lots of paintings like this to bring comfort to those who have lost their loved ones, giving them the visual reminder of those lost, back in His arms again. People often commission me to do these paintings for gifts for those that are grieving.

Lorrie was Dorothy's caregiver for many years until she passed away after having a stroke. Lorrie asked me to do a painting depicting herself handing Dorothy back into the Savior's care. I thought the symbolism was beautiful.
Dorothy
I am an artist and an EMT. I met baby Matthew on an EMT call right after he was born. He was called back to his Heavenly Home the next day. I did this painting in an effort to bring peace and comfort to his sweet parents who have since become dear friends of mine as well as many others I've met through my work. I'm grateful to meet so many faithful amazing people through my artwork. They are an inspiration to me.
Autumn
Autumn is a young girl who survived cancer. She requested this painting for her birthday to remind her of the closeness she felt to the Savior as he helped her through this hard trial.

The Gentry family lost their husband and father unexpectedly. A friend of theirs that commissioned me to do this painting wanted them to have one last family portrait together.

Brenda
Baby Matthew
Brenda is a faith filled friend that while going through breast cancer had the inspiration to ask me to do this painting of her in the Saior's arms. I finished the painting just as she finsished chemotherapy and started radiation. At that same time they discovered her husband Bob also had cancer but unlike Brenda who is a cancer survivor would return to his Heavenly home 2 years later. Brenda hung this painting on her bedroom wall. She told me it is the first thing she sees every morning and has gotten her thfough many hard days.

Baby Joshua left this life quickly and unexpectedly at the tender age of 9 months old. I met his parents on an LDS cruise where his dad, Conlan Bonner sang a beaufiful song and bore a beautiful testimony that he knew they would see their baby again.

Tia Stokes is a famous blogger that owned a dance company called the Vault. Her company did many fundraisers to help people with cancer then Tia found out she had Leukemia during the time everything was shut down for covid. She had to spend her days in the hospital getting treatments alone since visitors weren't allowed. She had been in the hospital 30 days and was excited to finally go home when she got a phone call saying her mom had passed away. Her dad had already passed away. I did these paintings for Tia showing her parents still there for her comforting her in spirit form during this dificult trial in her life.

The Dream
The AhQuins sadly lost their brother J.D. Another family member had a dream where they saw JD standing in a green field with Jesus Christ holding a little girl. The family member did not know JD and his wife had a previous miscarriage. They called JD's wife to ask if this had been the case because of the dream and she confirmed that it had which brought comfort to the family knowing JD was with the Savior and his little girl again. The AhQuins commissioned me to paint the story of this dream for a Christmas gift for J.D's family. I know the Savior is real and sends tender mercies like this to comfort us in our trials. I'm so grateful to be an artist and meet so many amazing people and hear of their experiences and miracles as I try to bring peace and comfort to their loved ones through my art.
