He Calms the Raging Sea

We all have times in our lives when we feel we are being tossed by the raging sea. At one of these times in my life I prayed for help, not knowing how to stay afloat in the turbulence that was out of my control. The answer that came to me clearly was, "Be still." As I learned to trust our Savior and hand my troubles and trials to Him I was brought into the stillness of His peace and calm waters. I wanted this painting to symbolize this message.
